Job Opening for Senior/Network Engineer, Linux Administrator and IT Technical Lead

SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

1. JOB PURPOSE:

To manage, produce, develop and maintain network related tasks and issues regarding both dedicated and shared network platform responsibilities. To provide quality control and oversight of the whole Cisco infrastructure and Prodcution Servers. To provide technical and administrative support in the enhancement of network expansion and improvement projects. The position will perform professional work and work coherently with the IT Manager/Project Manager.

2. EXPECTED OUTCOMES:

Communication System

Manages the Dedicated Network and Shared Network infrastructure and activities; develops strategies and tools that help address the Hosting Architecture’s department

Provide a focused and complete transition checklist with project members

Oversees the coverage of infrastructure of new programs or work activities relating to HAT operations;

Continuously enhances the HAT strategy for building and maintaining a strong network to support the Projects strategic objectives

Provides quality control and oversight of the infrastructure and production servers by the various Business Units within the department.

IT Infrastructure

Designs and develops enhancements for the MAMUT IT infrastructure with the objective to communicate HAT operations and services more effectively to stakeholders.

Provides support to Business Units in developing stable and advanced network that will improve efficiency and enhance service delivery; oversees the maintenance of established network service and seeks to improve the online capabilities of IT systems for the hosting business

Analyzes and prepares network statistics reports using available network monitoring tools.

Leads, designs, and conducts Usability Study of the network and quality testing

Guidelines and Procedures

Prepares the following documents:

· Daily Operation Manual

· Request for Change

· Request for new server

· Technical Incident Report

· Platform Architecture

· Network Changes

· Documentation routines, sharepoint routines and training

Develops and designs training programs, maintains such, and conducts trainings which are aimed at enhancing project team members communication and IT knowledge and skills, in collaboration with the team.

3. EDUCATION AND SKILLSETS REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Management Information System or related fields, preferably at post-graduate level or its equivalent.

Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) or Cisco Certified Design Professional(CCDA)

Background with Cisco ASA firewall using CSM, CNA, Cisco NAC, Core switch and Edge Routers

Blade Switch Servers HP and IBM, SAN Servers, Background with Microsoft Windows 2003 or 2008

Have worked in a Virtualized Enviroment

4. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level.

At least 5 years of combined and relevant work experience in IT and IP Networks

Thorough knowledge and understanding of an institution's policies and its administrative services operations, guidelines, and procedures.

Excellent command of written and spoken English.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Administer/set-up Linux/Unix systems running mostly Debian, redhat, Ubuntu and freebsd
- Responsible for resolving issues, concerns on all Linux servers specifically LAMP setups.
- Monitor Linux Servers' performance and provide optimization solutions.
- Coordinate with R&D and Technical support regarding hosting operation's Linux cases.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Knowledge or experience in the ff will come in handy:
- Apache, MySQL, FTP, LDAP, DNS bind, and other typical linux services.
- Optimization and security of Linux Servers
- Scripting (Shell, Perl or any UNIX scripting language)
- TCP/IP networking
- Server/resource virtualization, clustering and/or load-sharing

Job Opening for IT Manager

IT Manager

Basic Responsibilities for the position include:

1. Review annual budget for IT requirements.
2. Review, propose & execute major projects for the group that mainly/partly involve IT.
3. Review policies and procedures that were created to safeguard IT resources.
4. Evaluate the performance of each member of the group and suggest/recommend to
ensure efficiency and productivity of each individuals.
5. Oversee periodic monitor of department performance vis-à-vis annual objectives &
targets set at the beginning of the year.
6. Review IT projects that are approved to be acquired. The task may include negotiation
with external companies on their proposal/bids, as well as prepare recommendations that
are beneficial & cost-effective to Management for approval.
7. Meet and give guidance to the group on the proper and timely executions of projects.

8. Formulate systems and procedures to ensure proper maintenance of IT resources.
9. Coordinate with functional heads for any system requirements.

10. Attend to major issues that concern PC operations in all locations.

11. Determine training needs of all PC users & provide assistance thru training sessions,
tutorials or on-line documentation via the company’s resources.

12. Research and recommend for latest issues & innovation on Information Technology that
would be truly beneficial to the company.

13. Perform coaching & counseling activities of staffs so that their morale & level of
motivation are constantly held high. Ensure that every staff is performing well with their
assigned tasks. Train and develop them to be more competitive.

14. Draft/modify (if deemed necessary) guidelines and policy on the proper usage as well as
the network security that will be followed by every user, and ensure that it is strictly and
properly enforced throughout the factories.

15. Performs other RELATED functions that may be assigned BY THE IMMEDIATE
SUPERIOR
